ON HOLD . . . Family Pending

These are the words next to the pictures of my girls on Dillon's site. LOVE IT!!! Although, I will say, I would prefer just to see I have a family like our former agency does it...but this will do.

Thank you Lord for these two amazing gifts you have added to our family!!

What You Should Know About HIV

- HIV can NOT be spread through casual/household contact. HIV is not spread through hugging, kissing, shaking hands, sharing toys, sneezing, coughing, sharing food, sharing drinks, bathing, swimming or any other casual way. It has been proven that HIV and AIDS can only be spread through sexual contact, birth, breastfeeding and intravenously (such as used needles).
- HIV is now considered a chronic but manageable disease. With treatment, people who are HIV+ can live indefinitely without developing AIDS and can live long and full lives.
- People who are HIV+ deserve to be treated with love, respect, support and acceptance as all people do. If anyone wants more info on transmission, there is great info on the Center for Disease Control website.

11/22/11 Matched with our precious babies...Isaiah and Hannah.
Unforseen circumstances...won't be adopting the girls.
11/15/11 Dillon International says we can move forward with the adoption of the girls!!!
Contacted placing agency, reviewed files, told placing agency we were interested in the sisters, wait...

11/6/2011 Feel the Lord leading us in a different direction
10/20/11 Committee day...turned down again
10/19/11 Phone interview for another baby girl

9/1/11 Committee day...we were not chosen to be the family of this sweet girl
